YMCA Strong Kids is our annual fundraising campaign focused on raising much needed resources to support proven YMCA programs that give kids the opportunities they need to live healthier, happier lives now, but also to grow into productive adults.
Supporting our YMCA Strong Kids Campaign directly supports children, teens and young adults in our community. Everyone is welcome at the YMCA!
Monies raised in 2012 will go towards the following program initiatives:
- New Youth Fitness Free Drop In!
- Expansion of our Honda MOBYLE Youth Parks Outreach Program
- Expansion of our new Youth Drop-In and Outreach
- New Summer Althlete Development Program
- New Y “Face” Program (Finding Activities in Community Engagement) for Youth Leadership
- Development of the Tunnicliffe Childcare Outdoor Living Space
- Camp sponsorship subsidies
The Timmins Family YMCA has a unique and important role to play in our community. Your gift will help us in the clallenges involved in delivering quality and affordable program options; and to be the voice and a leader for youth in Timmins.
Sponsorship Opportuity Levels:
- YMCA Letters – $2,500 each Y M C A
- YMCA Triangle sides – $1,500 each Spirit, Mind, Body
- 9 weeks of summer camp – $500 per week
- YMCA Values - $250 per value Honesty, Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Inclusiveness
- Friends of the Playground - $20 or any amount from $1 to $99
